Assuming you have received/downloaded an archive that came in several parts or volumes, you have two ways of decompressing it, the first and most simple is to browse to the directory/folder where this split archives are located and right-click on the zip.001, part01.rar, 7z.001 or the first part in the sequence if it came in other supported formats.
From the context menu select any of the three “Extract..” options the first will let you select the location of the decompressed file, the second will automatically decompress the file in the current location and the third will create a new folder called after the split archive name. The second way is to open the 7-Zip file manager and browse to the location of the split archive. Again select the first volume and click on the Extract button, a dialog where you can specify the location of the extracted file will popup.
